CAMINS AMB HISTÒRIA A ALCARRÀS

3rd Blog Entry

We finished the Friday with a game to discover Alcarràs with a lot of rain. We went in the centre when de rain was starting and we arrived when it was a little bit hard. Luckily we were inside our home were a really heavy storm started.

This weekend we had a really good time. On Saturday we went to hiking to a church in Montagut and we have done some games.
The way of the hiking was very nice because of the peach trees. There we have done some typical activities of the different countries (from Belgium and Czech Republic) and ate all together then we came back and we made the dinner. After that we played some relaxed and funny games at the house like psychologist, the shrimp, and the monkeys.
On Sunday we woke up a little bit later because we need to rest a bit. Then, we went to the pool were we did some coordination and collaborative games; we had to help each others to win because there each group had different difficulties. At the evening we went again to the swimming pool and we did kind of an Olympics games in groups. We had to do some funny activities and the ones that did better win. Then at night we played “the flag” until the hour we went to sleep.
So, it was a really good weekend and we enjoyed so much.

2nd Blog Entry

On Wednesday we worked in the morning but during the afternoon Alexandre hurt himself so we didn’t go to the swimming pool and we stayed at home doing some games. It was a busy day but finally and luckily it was just a fright.
On Thursday we have known that Alexandre and Núria are going to leave the day after so we did a pizza-party to say goodbye to them and we also dressed up.

In the afternoon we also went to visit a typical farm and they explained us how the organization is and how they breed small cutie pigs.

The camp without them will be different and we will miss them.

On Monday morning, the archelogists -which we will work with for the following  two weeks-  explained us our tasks, and they told us about the history of Alcarràs. Moreover, the major and the concillour of the village welcomed us.
In the afternoon, we continued doing the activities to put together the diferent cultures and at the same time they explaied us the rules to live properly. Gradually, we continued getting to know each other through out the activities to break the ices.
On Tuesday morning, we started our tasks: in one hand we cleaned the old wall of the village castle, and on the other hand, we helped in the discovery of the old church of the twelfth century.  There were two exciting excavation that helps to understand the archaeological project of the Alcarràs, and at the same time let the teens get used to new activities.
